As we head into the festive season, we’ve included information about our holiday working hours, ensuring you know when and how to reach us during this time.
We have curated a collection of insightful articles to provide valuable support and guidance for you and your loved ones throughout the winter season.From staying warm with the Small Acts of Kindness initiative to making Christmas inclusive, you’ll find tips and guidance for creating accessible festive celebrations. Highlights include advice from the National Autistic Society on making Christmas fun for those with Autism, guidance from Scope on creating a visually inclusive celebration and tips from the National Deaf Children’s Society on making Christmas deaf-friendly. No matter how you spend this this season, these resources are here to help everyone feel included and valued. Additionally, we are pleased to share that Age UK Hertfordshire, in partnership with local services, are hosting over 100 winter drop-in events to assist older communities.
These events will cover topics such as pension credit entitlement, food and energy support, carer assistance, draught insulation, radiator reflectors, and free winter welfare checks.
