Inclusive sport sessions for young adults with learning disabilities in Hertfordshire

About Inclusive United:

Inclusive United is a not-for-profit UK Community Interest Company (CIC) located in Hertfordshire. The primary aim is to generate more inclusive sport opportunities for underrepresented communities. The belief is that everyone should have the chance to experience the physical, emotional, and social benefits that come with participating in sports and exercise.

Classes include:

Futsal – a FIFA recognised form of small sided football. It’s a fast paced, skills based game where physical contact is discouraged which is played on an indoor hard court – so trainers, shin pads and water are required.

Inclusive Sports and Social hub –

A blend of engaging, sociable, and fun activities, both indoors and outdoors.

Indoor Activities:

  • Table tennis
  • Pool
  • Table football
  • Group games and social activities

Outdoor Activities:

  • Astro turf sports, including football and multisports

These activities aim to build confidence and ensure everyone has fun.

Learning Disability Inclusive Football: Inclusive United’s daytime inclusive football sessions are for young adults aged 18+ with mild to moderate learning disabilities, neurodiversity, SEN (special educational needs) or additional needs. Participants play in a safe, inclusive and fun environment, develop their football skills and build their confidence. There is also time for participants to meet new friends and socialise, play pool and table tennis in the social hub
